local credit unions to provide you with finance options for the essential items
found on the Smarterbuys website.
The three main aims of a credit union are:
- To encourage its members to save regularly.
- To provide loans to members at very low rates of interest.
- To provide members with help and support on managing their financial affairs (if required).

- Smarterbuys are not offering financial advice or loans
- We aim to help people find affordable credit through Credit Unions
- It is your responsibility to get in touch with your local Credit Union in order to take out a loan
- Organising your finance may take up to two weeks your order will be reserved to allow you time to access finance
- Once your arrangements are in place with your Credit Union you can complete your Smarterbuys order in your My Account area
